Morgan Lyons, LCSW (She/her or They/Them)

I am a licensed clinical social worker and clinical supervisor living in Portland, Oregon. In my free time I am often out in nature, and I particularly enjoy hiking, baking, playing games, and spending time in my garden.

I’ve spent over a decade as a counselor, and much of my background has centered on working with survivors of domestic violence, unhoused youth, and individuals struggling with self-harm and suicidality. While I enjoy working with a wide range of adults and young adults, I feel particularly well suited to those looking to increase their self-compassion and find values-aligned ways to respond to painful circumstances.  My most cherished values include community, compassion, self-determination, and joy and I strive to embody these as a provider.

I am a self-identified therapy nerd, and love increasing my knowledge base. I support my work through attending trainings, receiving ongoing individual and peer consultation, engaging as a client in my own therapy, and ongoing reading and research.
